Give it a Try…A Double Helping…Contract Signed!

Happy Friday, Church!

How did your first full week of 2022 go? Yes, it has been a week already! It seems hard to believe that the first full week of 2022 is already in the record books. Time is flying, only 358 days left in 2022. Don’t blink! “Life” is moving on and so is Faith Baptist Church!

I want you to try something this Sunday! I want you to get “two helpings”! I really want you to attend BOTH a worship service and a Bible study. Why? Because I know how much you will benefit from them both! It does not matter which one that you attend. Would you think and pray about it?

As a matter of fact, I really hope that there is a relatively equal number of people at both services and studies. Because regardless of which one you attend, both are going to be excellent and it simply means that you will be at church from 9:30-12 noon, either way.

As you know, both the 9:30 & 11 am worship services will be the same. Same great music and message. And both Bible Studies will be great! At 9:30 am Bill Chappell is doing a study of the Attributes of God. There are many misconceptions about God. This is a great way to get to know God better and Enjoy Him More. And at 11 am Wayne Martin is doing a study called Overcoming Life’s Greatest Challenges. It is a great way to learn how to deal with common struggles like worry and fear. Come and be blessed!

Remember that if you have school age children, we have planned two different but dynamite times for them too!!! 9:30 & 11 am, with time in between for a snack and time on the playground!

Also, guess what? We signed a contract with Sky Solar today! They will begin installing our solar panels sometime in the next 2 weeks. Very exciting! We still need to raise about 20-25k to fully pay for the project. Please pray and give as God leads! This is a great investment in the future ministry of Faith!

On another note, if you are on the Bible reading plan please let Joe Guiterrez know which service you will be attending so he can plan accordingly. And if you are an usher, please let Bob Brown know the same, so he can plan accordingly. It is awesome to have 10+ men on the schedule.

And as a side-note, we had 16 men at our weekly Friday breakfast this morning. Wow! That is awesome. We continue to have record attendance. We are in the process of starting a greater men’s ministry soon and calling it “MEAT EATERS”! What a great NAME! I got that idea from Bill Chappell who was in a group by that name.

God is at work in our world in our lives. May we continue to allow Him to mold and shape us into the people he planned for us to be before the foundation of the world.

In His Good Grip,
Pastor Mike

PS: We had 12 people at our Membership Class on Wednesday Night!
