Hi Church!

How are your body joints?   Unless you have a sore, worn or even injured body joint, you probably do not think much about them.  You move about without giving them much thought.  However, some of you have had knee and hip joints wear out and even replaced.  You know the value of a good joint, and the excruciating pain and discomfort of a bad one!

Body joints are an amazing work of God!  And  they serve an amazing role in our bodies ability to move and accomplish tasks.  The ability of a good knee joint to flex, walk, run and jump is incredible!

When God wanted to describe His intent for His body of believers to be working while joined together, He said it like this, “that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.”   I Cor. 1:10

Perfectly joined together.   Not just joined, perfectly joined!  Those words make me think of other objects:  a puzzle piece that perfectly fits in its place.  On its own a puzzle piece has no clear identity or image.  How many misplaced puzzle pieces end up in the trash or in a miscellaneous drawer when they are separated from their box?    But when they are joined with the other pieces a beautiful picture is portrayed.  Perfectly joined also makes me think of wood joints that join the sides of cabinet drawers and other wood furniture.  Those joints provide great strength and beauty to wood pieces.

This Sunday we will be learning the KEYS TO WELL JOINTED RELATIONSHIPS!  What does Paul mean when he says, we should all speak the same thing, have the same mind and same judgment How is that possible?  Do we all say the same thing all of the time?   How do we have the same exact thoughts and come to the same exact conclusions?

Come and learn about his vital truth from I Corinthians 1:10-31.  LEARNING THIS TRUTH WILL ALSO HELP BRING JOINT HEALTH TO OUR OTHER RELATIONSHIPS WITHIN OUR HOMES AND WORKPLACES.
