Hey Church!
Seriously! YES, we are expecting! Have you noticed the BIGGER GLOW… Yes, at 50 & 52 years of age, we are expecting another child to be added to our family. But it is a little bigger story than that! We are expecting another child to be added to God’s family this Easter season… did I get you? April fools. Sort of…
On a serious note, every Easter over the past 25 years of ministry we have seen people added to the family, God’s family. Easter is about coming alive! It is about being “born again”. It is about the Holy Spirit bringing new life to those who were dead and lost in their trespasses and sins. EASTER REALLY IS THE MOST EXCITING TIME OF THE YEAR.
I need you to do something. What is it? Commit to follow our church strategy for reaching our lost family and friends! How?
1. Pray! Pray that God will open their eyes to their need of God’s saving grace found in Jesus.
2. Invest! Yes, over the next several weeks take some time to invest into those relationships. Do what you can to build and strengthen your relationships.
3. Invite! We have some great plans for the Easter season. And we want you to invite your friends. It begins this Sunday. We are giving a FRESH look at the meaning of the trial, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus.
Together we can be used of God to give spiritual birth. It does not get any more exciting than that. YES, We are EXPECTING GOD TO BRING NEW “BABIES” INTO OUR LOVING AND CARING CHURCH! AMEN!
