Hi Church!
Are you praying about the circumstances in Ukraine? I hope so. Please keep praying. It is heart breaking. Apart from a miracle of divine and bold human intervention, things are going to get much, much worse. Many good people have died and will die for no good reason. Many are now refugees and are suffering. It is very sad, and it makes me mad. Never underestimate the importance of good leadership. Why? Everything rises or falls on leadership. I could say more, but I am praying some people to wake up and wise up! God help us! Again, prayer changes things, so keep praying!
Do you have a favorite brand of pants/jeans? I grew up wearing Wranglers and Levi’s, and I still wear them. Or, we buy whatever is at a good sale price, right! We all need good pants to wear. As I mentioned in my previous email, this Sunday we will be learning about our “Pants Problem”. While some make their pants problem quite obvious by letting their pants hang down, we all have an issue.
This Sunday we will be learning about a woman who was caught with her pants down. Literally. She was caught in the very act of adultery. And that is shameful sin with serious consequences, but the story doesn’t end the way you may think it would, or the way some had hoped. It is a story and message that fits perfectly with our series: S-E-X.
Let me help you prepare for the message by giving you my outline:
A Woman was Caught with her Pants Down, Literally.
The Attempt was to Catch Jesus with His “Pants Down”, Figuratively.
Everyone became Aware that their “Pants Were Down“, Shockingly
Adam & Eve Were the First to be Found with their “Pants Down“, Representively.
Jesus is the Only One Who Can Provide us With the “Pants” that we need, Sacrificially.
Join us at 9:30 am or 11 am for a great time of worship and learning together! This Sunday will be our last Sunday having two Sunday services. Next Sunday we go back to one service at 9:30 am.
