Hi Church!

Have you ever had someone say to you, “wise up”!  Growing up I heard those words spoken many times by my parents.   It normally came with a clear warning: wise up or else…  Most of the time it was about something going on between me and one of my siblings.  I do not hear those words stated too often anymore.  But there is some really good truth in those words.   Why?  Because the right wisdom comes from “up” above.  So when we are wising up, we are acting like the source of wisdom, God.  He wants us to be wise.  When we live wisely we can avoid unnecessary pain and heartache in our lives.

Who would you consider to be the wisest person that you know?  What makes them wise?  What qualities would you say stand out?   Thousands of years ago James asked the question “who is wise among you”?    And he went on to give us six qualities of the wise person.   We are going to learn about those qualities on Sunday.  I think you would agree that all of us need to continue to WISE UP!

Plan to join us on Sunday at 9:30 am or 11 am as we seek to “WISE UP”!    Be sure to look over the attached bulletin for many new and important announcements!
