THE THANKSGIVING THIEVES…

Hi Church!
On a scale of 1-10, how thankful are you today? I can assure you that your answer to that question is a barometer of your happiness. Grateful people are Happy people. And happy people are truly the “healthy” people. Gratitude is a sign of a healthy mind, soul and heart.
This is my favorite time of the year! Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. For one, it is pecan pie time, and I would argue that my wife makes the best pie crust in the world. I may be a little partial, but sorry gals! It is also turkey time, game time, hunting time, but most importantly it is family time! I always cherish the time with my family! I am sure you do too.
Most people know about the Grinch who stole Christmas but not the thieves who steal Thanksgiving! Many years ago, I came to understand that many people are not thankful they are miserable. I always wondered why. Why are they so ungrateful? Many have everything and even more than they need. Most of the world would love to have their “problems”. So what happened to the attitude of gratitude? The thanksgiving thieves have stolen it!
On Sunday we are going to learn who and what the “thieves” are. There are 4 of them: Entitlement, Ease, Envy and Evil. These “thieves” are always at work trying to break into our hearts and minds and steal “thanksgiving”! They understand that if they can steal your heart of gratitude then they can destroy your life. This is a BIG message filled with truth and application for today. You do not want to miss it, so join us at 9:30 am in person or online as we look at this message.
