Work All Week & Church On Sunday… But Why Go to Church?

America was built on two essential truths: Work & Worship
1. We believed in having and teaching our children to have a strong work ethic. God created the world six days and he took a day off to rest. Americans have been some of the harvest working people in the world. We believe that we were made to work, and it is the way that we provide for our family and bring glory to God. So to all of you who have worked for a living and those who continue to work hard – your family, community, country and God all see and appreciate your work!
2. We have believed in going and taking our family to church on Sunday to worship. In the past nearly every store and business was closed on Sunday so everyone could have a day to rest. And Americans went to church and worshipped on Sunday. It was what we did. Today about 40% of Americans attend church “regularly”. On any given weekend about 20-25% of Americans attend a worship service. That is good and that is bad. It is good for those going and bad for those who are not.
WHY GO TO CHURCH? Does it matter? That is what we will be talking about on Sunday! Join us at 9:30 am!
Remember that there is a church luncheon after the service and the theme is BREAKFAST!
