A Really, Really “Bad Week”…Followed By A “Dream Come True”…

Hey Church!

How was your week? Good? Bad? In between? Did you have some “wins”? Some “losses”? We all have had, and will have all of those kinds of weeks. But there is a “week” coming that will make all of the other worst weeks seem like a “walk in the park”. It is the last week, the 70th week determined for Israel and those who are still alive on this earth. It is called many things:
• Day of the Vengeance of God (Isa 34:8; 63:1-6)

• The Time of Job’s Troubles (Jer 30:7)

• The Seventieth Week of Daniel(Dan 9:24-27)

• The Time of the End (Dan 12:9)

• The Great Day of His Wrath (Rev 6:17)

• The Hour of His Judgment (Rev 14:7)

• The End of the World (Mt 13:40,49)

• The Indignation (Isa 26:20; 34:2)

• The Desolation of Abomination (Dan 9:27)

• The Time of Troubles as never before (Dan 12:1)

Wow! I think you get the idea of the kind of hour, day and time it will be like. You can read about in Revelation chapters 4-19. It is like 9-11, red tide, hurricane Irma, a Tsunami, a midwest dust bowl, winter in Alaska, Exxon oil spill and much more all at one time and on a global scale. It is hard to imagine… We refer to it as the Tribulation & Great Tribulation. It is going to be a lot of trouble that will cause a lot of pain, sorrow, crying and death. The world has never seen anything like it before. But thankfully, that is not the end of the story! His-tory – God’s story/plan is GOOD!

They say the darkest hour is just before dawn. That is true in nature and often in life. So HOLD ON IN THOSE DARK DAYS! A new day is coming! Not just a new day – a new government, a new body, a new earth, a new heaven – ALL THINGS WILL BE MADE NEW. The Bible says it like this, “He who was seated on the throne said, ‘I am making everything new! Then he said, “write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” Just in case you have days of doubt, God said – write it down! Mark my words. It will happen!

Join us on Sunday as we get a BIG picture of the final days, weeks and years of the world as we know it. We will also get a little idea of what to expect for life on the New Earth and New Heaven. God tells us just enough to wet our appetite and give us a longing like Abraham for “the city and whose maker is God”.

Understanding these things changes how you view and live your life. So join us on Sunday at 9:30 am as we learn and grow together!
