The SECRET IS OUT… 70 “WEEKS”… Pray for our Teachers, Staff & Students…

Where is this crazy world headed? Do you ever wonder that? Ever wonder, “so, what is next”?! How much worse or better are things going to be get? Is the world ever going to be “normal” again? You might be thinking, was it ever normal?! Yes, it was. And some day it will not just be everyday “normal” again; it will be “picture perfect”!
How do I know that? Because the “secret” is out! Have you ever tried a keep a planned gift, birthday, vacation, or night out a secret? You want it to be a good surprise! Let me assure you that God has some good surprises for you and me.
God has not told us all of the amazing details of his plan but he has revealed some of it. God chose to tell us his “secret”. He did not keep it to himself. See, God has always had a very good plan for us and the world. And the great thing is that nothing can stop God from completing his work. We do not have to live day to day wondering where things are heading. Many years ago God gave dreams and visions to a king and a man named Daniel that revealed future world history with pinpoint accuracy.
Daniel said it like this, “There is a God in heaven who reveals secrets…” God “reveals deep and secret things.” Daniel 2:22, 28 So Daniel was able to recount the king’s dreams and the interpretation and record them.
One of the most important prophetic passages in the Bible is Daniel 9:24-27. Have you ever wondered, how did the magi, wise men, from the “east” know that king Jesus had been born? Why did they follow that star? They knew because they had read and understood Daniel’s writings. You see God told Daniel many years before time exactly how many years it would be until the messiah’s birth. And there is a lot that God has revealed about what is to come.
Do you know what the future holds? Do you know what comes next? Do you know where this world is headed? Have you read and studied so you can be prepared? Will you be considered a “wise person”?
This Sunday we are going to learn much more about God’s present and future plan for this world. Just remember this: 70×7. It is a GOOD plan! Actually, it is a perfect plan that will bring this world back to paradise.
As you pray for one another, please keep our teachers and students in prayer. Most all of our schools are back in session and it is a real time of transition. I would encourage you to do what I do, every time that you drive past a school, pray for the students and teachers meeting there. Every time you see a student waiting to get on a bus, say a prayer for them!
Also, pray for the start of our fall ministries to children, students and adults. They will all be starting back up in early September. Our children need a strong foundation to weather the storms that life brings. We know that God’s truth can and does provide that foundation!
Continue to pray for those who are going through health, financial and other trials. The humble, reverent and passionate prayer changes things!
