NEVER EVER SAY, “FOREVER”? Sophia’s Report and So Much More!

Hi Church!
Have you heard it said, “never ever say forever”? I am sure you have. And in general, it is for good reason. Use caution! Some times we say things like, “that will last forever”, yet we know that very few things stand the test of time. Hardly anything lasts forever. Forever is a VERY, VERY LONG TIME! And we live in a “throw-away kind of culture”.
Even the best made cars and homes have a shelf-life. Championship teams and great players succumb to things over time. But there is one thing that will last forever and ever. God said, “THIS IS FOREVER”. And while their maybe times when it seems in jeopardy, it will lasts. What is that? It is a reign. The reign of David and his descendants.
God made a unconditional promise to David that this house would endure forever and his throne would be established forever. Does it matter? What does that mean? How does that affect us? We are going to learn more about this on Sunday because it does matter. You must understand God’s covenant to David if you are going to understand a lot of the Bible and the future.
